I think the only way not to go insane is just to keep a level head about it all. The way I approach the issue is with a healthy understanding that Everyone is going to have an agenda and that most reports that are overly littered with emotional appeals and such should be taken as more suspect than reports that just present that facts. Unfortunately, that means almost all of the reports out there because as humans we just don't have the ability to present unspun facts.

However, I'm truly tired of just reading news items, I want meaty books. Unfortunately the best recommendation that I've recieved so far is to go watch An Inconvenient Truth. Oh Well...

I think I am done researching this stuff! I cannot stand the confusion and paradox of it all. (Not to mention the paradox in my own head of wanting to be informed but without the drama of it all.) Anyway- for now, I will continue to live my life feeling confident in the fact that I am doing all I can (and feel led) to do as a steward of my environment.

But it sure is interesting...just how do you not go insane?
